Data Management

Understand, download and manage your organization's PostTask data.

1 Your Data in PostTask

PostTask helps organizations manage their employees, attendance, tasks, projects, AMC/PMS services, expenses, documents and field operations.

Data entered, created, uploaded or collected by employees, contractors, managers and other authorized users while using PostTask is created on behalf of their employer or organization.

Who controls the data?
The organization, through its authorized Administrator, controls its organizational and business data. Employees and other authorized users create and update this information while performing work on behalf of the organization.

Employee Location & Foreground Location Service

If employee movement tracking is enabled by the organization, PostTask may collect work-related location information during an authorized attendance or work session.

The PostTask Android application may use a foreground location service so that authorized location tracking can continue while the application is minimized or is not currently visible.

Location tracking may stop according to configured conditions such as Check-Out, employee logout, completion of the applicable tracking session, office/shift rules or other organization-configured tracking controls.

2 View & Download Your Data

The organization's authorized Administrator can view and manage organizational data through the applicable PostTask modules and reports.

Reports available within the Administrator section provide options to download applicable organizational data in Excel format.

Download Your Data

To download your organization's data, login to PostTask as an authorized Administrator and open the applicable report. Available data can be downloaded directly in Excel format.

This allows the organization to retain copies of its applicable business information whenever required, including before discontinuing the PostTask service or submitting a data deletion request.

3 Discontinue PostTask Service

If at any time your organization decides to discontinue using PostTask, an authorized Administrator may submit a request to delete applicable organizational data and close the organization's PostTask account.

Before requesting deletion

Please download or export any information that your organization wishes to retain before submitting a deletion request. Data that has been permanently deleted may not be recoverable.

Submitting the form below creates a Data Deletion Request. Data will not be deleted immediately. The Administrator and organization must first be authenticated and the request verified before applicable data is processed for deletion.
